We are proud to announce the successful completion and handover of the Springhill Community Centre in Shotts, delivered for Getting Better Together (GBT), a community-based health initiative which promotes the education, health and well-being of North Lanarkshire residents.

Through the fundraising work of the charity and support of a number of stakeholders, GBT sought to replace their existing well-loved facilities with a new building making it more accessible and to allow the expansion of their outreach activities.

The new modern and vibrant space caters to a wide range of activities and events, nurturing a sense of community togetherness.

The Springhill Community Hub offers a variety of activities for local residents, ranging from services for children and young people, adult learning programs emphasising numeracy, literacy, life skills.

Fleming were the main contractors for this project, working closely with all stakeholders to provide new facilities that met the aims and requirements of GBT and the excellent design team.

Our sister division Fleming Timber Structures provided the structural solution, further enhancing the environmental credentials of the new building.

The Springhill Community Hub stands as a testament to the power of collective effort and the enduring spirit of community collaboration.
